Purpose

STCW stands for Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (for Seafarers). Before embarking as a crew member on board a commercial vessel such as offshore fleet, tankers, ferries, super yachts and passenger vessels, it is now mandatory to complete a series of short courses known as STCW Basic Safety training or STCW Basic Courses.

The STCW Basic Training programme is a practical marine course covering safety onboard, survival and rescue. On the completion of this course you will receive and internationally recognised certificate that will enable you to work on board vessels throughout the world including Super Yachts and Cruise Ships.
