Assessment
Block Courses:
Learners will need to attend block courses tailored to their specific strand, providing intensive, and focused training.
On-Job Assessments:
Completion of on-job assessments is required, which are unique to each strand, ensuring that practical skills and evidence requirements are met.
Shared Unit Standards:
The programme includes standards that can be applied in multiple contexts and may have already been completed by the learner in a different context. Learners will need to demonstrate that they can apply the skills and knowledge captured in those standards to the new roofing context (strand). This means the practical components and evidence requirements for these unit standards will be unique to the strand being studied.
