Purpose

The aim of this course is to provide awareness of ladder safety in the workplace.

Course Objectives

  • Understand best practice guidelines for ladder use in NZ; covering ladders and stepladders
  • Understand knowledge of the hazards associated with using a ladder
  • Understand Inspection of ladders prior to use
  • Understand correct access and egress techniques.
