The purpose of this programme is to train individuals in safe practices for working at heights on construction sites. Over 12 weeks, trainees learn practical skills in scaffolding, using safety equipment, operating forklifts and mobile elevating work platforms, and handling materials safely. They also cover essential safety topics like back injury prevention and first aid. Upon completion, participants gain a Site Safe Construction Passport and unit standard credits, paving the way for further training or employment in specialised construction roles.
