Purpose

The purpose of this course is to provide a sound understanding of the causes of back injury and methods to prevent back injury in the workplace.

Course Objectives

On completion of this e-learning course trainees will be able to:

  • Describe the structure and function of the spine.
  • Identify the risk factors for occupational back injury.
  • Identify back care techniques.
  • Identify work place control measures to reduce the risk of back injury.

Our Teaching Method

Delivery via e-learning with support from an experienced trainer.

For the best e-learning experience, we recommend using a laptop or tablet with a strong internet connection. While smartphones can be used, please note that the course content and assessment format may work optimally on larger screens.

Any person working or supervising people at work and seeking to improve workplace health and safety.
