Last week we were thrilled to have held the Wāhine in Trades Open Day at VHNZ Tauranga, an incredible event dedicated to promoting women in the trades!
This day was all about breaking barriers, connecting with industry experts, and empowering the next generation of tradeswomen.

There were plenty of networking opportunities, allowing attendees to connect with trade employers. This was a fantastic way to build connections and explore the awesome career paths ahead. Attendees had a chance to get in a scissor lift alongside our trainers, and even get in a harness and up a tower!
We had some FANTASTIC speakers, including Bailee Smith from Fletcher Construction, Donni Millen from HEB Construction and Deb Harkin from Harkin Roofing - Quote of the day was "GIVE IT A GO!"
