This course is designed to equip trainees with the knowledge and practical skills required for the safe operation of a forklift. This includes conducting pre-operational inspections, performing start-up and shutdown procedures, and demonstrating effective and safe forklift handling techniques.

18496 – Persons seeking credit for this unit standard to obtain an F (forklift) endorsement must hold a current full class driver licence other than Class 6. Experience operating a forklift is required, or a good understanding of how to operate the forklift correctly and safely.
