INFO
The train to work programme is collection of NZQA unit standards that are highly sought after and demanded by workplaces. Our Māori Pasifika roopū work hard to ensure that the courses meet the needs of the potential employers and learners and the delivery of the programmes are designed to reflect the rich tapestry of Aotearoa New Zealand with indigenous values guiding the holistic approach that we take during the recruitment, training, employment support and post programme after care. Where possible, we encourage programmes to be delivered on a marae or within noho.
Content of the programme will vary, however, we generally provide first aid, risk assessment, health and safety, forklift, fire safety and so forth. We also offer bespoke training programmes where we come onsite and provide training that is tailored specifically to your needs.
To be eligible for this service each participant will be:
- A New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- 18 + years old.
- Fit, healthy and committed to work.
Please express your interest as soon as possible, as the above will need to be assessed prior to acceptance and course commencement.
