Rural Health and Safety
On completion of this course you will be able to:
- Describe personal and external factors that contribute to injury in a rural workplace.
- Describe strategies to manage personal and external factors that may contribute to injury in a rural workplace.
- Demonstrate knowledge of features of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 applicable to a primary industry operation.
- Apply the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 in relation to the duties of a primary industry worker.
Hold a current New Zealand Firearms licence if handling firearms.
