PURPOSE

The purpose of this course is to provide essential information about workplace health and safety practices, reporting and documentation requirements, communication processes and workplace health and safety culture.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

On completion of this eLearning course trainees will be able to:

  • Describe healthy and safe practices in a workplace.
  • Describe reporting and documentation requirements in terms of workplace health and safety.
  • Describe the communication process in terms of health and safety practices in a workplace setting.
  • Describe workplace health and safety culture.

This course provides compulsory credits toward VHNZ’s New Zealand Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety (Level 3).
