PURPOSE

In this course you will learn about evacuation requirements for a particular workplace or site. You will also learn about the duties of a Fire and Emergency Warden.

People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of evacuation requirements for a particular workplace or site and are able to perform the duties and functions of a Workplace Fire and Emergency Warden.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

On completion of this eLearning course learners will be able to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of evacuation requirements for a particular workplace or site.
  • Explain the duties of a Fire and Emergency Warden.
  • Identify factors pertaining to safe evacuation from a workplace or site.
  • Identify the required resources for safe evacuation from a workplace or site understand and explain the requirements and procedures to pre-warn other parties involved in emergency operations.
