Recently we had the privilege of participating in two prestigious events, the SARNZ and RANZ conferences. These events served as fabulous platforms for industry experts to share their invaluable insights and knowledge. However, the true highlight of both conferences was the opportunity to applaud the achievements of outstanding companies and individuals who have not only contributed significantly to the industry but have also excelled in their respective fields.
A Tribute to Excellence
Among the many inspiring stories, what stood out most were the remarkable achievements of two apprentices who were honoured with the prestigious Trainee of the Year awards. What makes these accolades even more special is that both of these exceptional apprentices completed their training with VHNZ.
Darian Giles: RANZ Trainee of the Year
Darian Giles, hailing from Marshall Industries in Invercargill, emerged as the RANZ Trainee of the Year. Darian's journey is a testament to dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence. His dedication to learning and growth in his field has not only made him a shining example but also a source of pride for his company and peers.
Akesi Liainia: SARNZ Trainee of the Year
On the other side of the country, Auckland's own Akesi Liainia, representing Acrow Ltd, was named the SARNZ Trainee of the Year. Akesi's accomplishments speak volumes about his unwavering determination to excel in the scaffolding industry. His journey from a trainee to the best in his category is a remarkable achievement that serves as an inspiration to all aspiring professionals.

We at VHNZ are immensely proud of the accomplishments of Darian and Akesi.
