Purpose

This course has been designed for people who require a basic understanding of the New Zealand Co-Ordinated Incident Management (CIMS) framework

Course Objectives

On completion of this course you will be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of:

CIMS principles and roles;
CIMS structure and functions; and
the impact of situational awareness on an incident response.

Our Teaching Method

Four hours classroom-based learning followed by completion of an on-line open book assessment.

SPECIAL NOTE

The on-line assessment is administered by Skills Organisation to ensure a consistent National standard.
