Purpose

This course has been designed for people whose role requires operational and practical knowledge of New Zealand’s Co-Ordinated Incident Management (CIMS) framework.

Course Objectives

On completion of this course you will be able to demonstrate operational knowledge of:

  • Interrelated functions of the CIMS model in an incident
  • Control function responsibilities in an incident
  • Incident Management Team (IMT) function manager roles in an incident
  • The Action Plan process in an incident

Special Note

The online assessment is administered by Skills Organisation to ensure a consistent national standard.
